When her phone rings one evening and Richie begs her to come to his flat immediately, she suspects something terrible. When she gets there, she finds him dead in the wardrobe – apparently he has hanged himself. Chris is a multi-award winning filmmaker who grew up with B-movie action and psychological horror films. He began his career as a screenwriter and has worked with several directors on commercial and narrative projects. “Dead Dicks<\/strong>” is his fourth screenplay in collaboration with Lee Paula Springer<\/strong> and the filmmaking duo’s directorial debut.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”62938″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Lee Paula Springer<\/strong> is an award-winning screenwriter and director from Montreal, Canada. Heston Horwin<\/strong>\u00a0grew up in a small provincial town called Fallbrook in North San Diego County and studied acting at Chapman University<\/strong>. For the past 9 years, he has also taken improv and sketch training at the Groundlings School & Theatre<\/strong> in Los Angeles and currently performs in the Sunday Company<\/strong>. He is also a member of the film group Almost Cool<\/strong>, known for the viral YouTube<\/strong> series “Long Story Short<\/strong>” and “Wiener vs. Brain<\/strong>“. Their short films have been featured on FunnyOrDie<\/strong>, 9gag<\/strong>, Buzzfeed<\/strong> and Reddit<\/strong>‘s “Top All Time Videos”<\/em> list. Heston Horwin<\/strong> can also be seen in the feature films “Rock Steady Row<\/strong>” (“Grand Jury and Audience Award<\/em>” winner at Slamdance<\/strong> 2018), “Dead Dicks<\/strong>” (“Audience Award at Fantasia 2019”<\/em>) and “Echoes of Violenc<\/strong>e” (released 2021).
