Roland Emmerich<\/strong>‘s graduation film “The Noah’s Ark Principle<\/strong>” (German: “Das Arche Noah Prinzip<\/strong>“) at the Munich Academy of Film and Television<\/strong> (HFF M\u00fcchen<\/strong>), which already shows the preference of the later director of lavish blockbusters like “Independence Day<\/strong>” and “The Day after Tomorrow<\/strong>” for science fiction, is now released on the label U8<\/span> Films Berlin<\/strong> by UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The early work of Roland Emmerich<\/strong> already offers considerable show values despite a modest budget. Among the recognizable models of Roland Emmerich<\/strong> is the film “2001<\/strong>” by Stanley Kubrick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 1997, the two astronauts Max Marek (Franz Buchrieser<\/strong>) and Billy Hayes (Richy M\u00fcller<\/strong>) research devices on the Florida Arklab space station that are supposed to have an influence on the global climate. When a crisis occurs in the Middle East, the weather control technology is to be misused for military purposes: The weather-influencing beams have a side effect; they act like stealth. Thus, a lightning-fast invasion by allied forces could go undetected. However, the use of the beams would trigger a devastating flood catastrophe of biblical proportions.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Max has scruples and sabotages the computer programs. When ground control notices this manipulation, two other astronauts are sent into space to replace Max and Billy: the inscrutable Gregor (Nikolas Lansky<\/strong>) and Eva (Avira Joel<\/strong>), Max’s wife.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
