It is one of the most prestigious awards for budding film projects, presented each year by <strong>MFG Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/strong>, which also funded the film. &#8220;<strong>Tr\u00fcmmerm\u00e4dchen &#8211; Germany Year Zero<\/strong>&#8221; is a production of <strong>simonsays.pictures<\/strong> GmbH in cooperation with the <strong>Filmakademie Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/strong>, the <strong>Akademie f\u00fcr Darstellende Kunst Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/strong> and <strong>S\u00fcdwestrundfunk<\/strong> (SWR).[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The enthralling emancipation story set against the backdrop of a new beginning in the ruins of World War 2 features a captivating <strong>Laura Balzer<\/strong> (nominated for the <strong>G\u00f6tz George Young Talent Award<\/strong> at the <strong>First Steps Awards<\/strong>), who in this role is able to exploit her formidable acting repertoire, turning her initially distraught and stuttering Charlotte step by step into a self-empowered young woman.
