Today, on the U1 Films Berlin<\/strong> label, UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> releases the fantasy horror film “A Deadly Legend<\/strong>“, the feature film debut of director Pamela Moriarty<\/strong>, on DVD and Blu-ray as well as on VoD-portals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

This whimsical homage to classic horror thrillers such as “Pet Sematary<\/strong>“, “Blair Witch Project<\/strong>” and “Poltergeist<\/strong>” takes horror fans on an entertaining rollercoaster ride full of suspense, horror, mayhem and laughs. Plus, there’s a reunion with Lori Petty<\/strong> (“Tank Girl<\/strong>“, “Orange is the New Black<\/strong>“)\u00a0and veteran horror star Corbin Bernsen<\/strong> (“The Dentist 1 & 2<\/strong>“, “Death in the Mirror<\/strong>“) is also back in the genre that made him a star in the 90s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When real estate agent Joan Huntar (Kristen Anne Ferraro<\/strong>) buys the site of an old summer camp at Pilgrim Lake, she is warned by old Carl Turner (Judd Hirsch<\/strong>): in the early 18th century, according to legend, a pagan sect conducted bloody sacrificial rituals and devil worship there. But the warnings are thrown to the wind and when the celebrations for the ground-breaking ceremony are already in full swing, chaos breaks loose: during the excavation work, a kind of Stonehenge is uncovered and the gate to hell seems to be already open!
