Die Schauspielerin Karoline Schuch<\/strong> (“Hannas Reise”, “Ich bin dann mal weg”) hat den Deb\u00fctfilm von Regisseur Max Gleschinski<\/strong> ausgew\u00e4hlt.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The plot of \u201cKahlschlag<\/strong>\u201c, which was released in cinemas on 5 March 2020 on UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span>‘s Artkeim\u00b2<\/strong> label and has since also been released on DVD, Blu-ray and as VoD, largely takes place in the Mecklenburg countryside. It combines elements of the thriller genre with a fatal love story and tells of the horror that builds up in the seemingly harmless province. Martin (Florian Bartholom\u00e4i<\/strong>) and Eric (Bernhard Conrad<\/strong>) share a childhood friendship. Already as little boys they went fishing at the reservoir every Sunday, and already as children they fell in love with the same girl: Frenni.<\/p>\n

Today, 20 years later, Martin lives with Frenni (Maike Johanna Reuter<\/strong>) in a tranquil detached house on his parents’ farm. Contact with Eric has broken off after a terrible incident, until one day he shows up at their door and asks Martin for one last trip to the lake together. Reluctantly, Martin comes along, but the trip soon turns out to be a journey into the heart of darkness.
