And we are very happy that on 16 October we will be releasing the second film with her on DVD, again in an exclusive, newly scanned version in HD, namely &#8220;<strong>Serenade for Two Spies<\/strong>&#8221; by <strong>Michael Pfleghar<\/strong>. For him she had already played the leading role in &#8221; <strong>Dead Woman from Beverly Hills<\/strong>&#8221; in 1964, before she charmed agent 006, played by <strong>Hellmut Lange<\/strong> (&#8220;<strong>Lederstrumpf<\/strong>&#8220;), alongside <strong>Barbara Lass<\/strong> in the colourful James Bond parody one year later. &#8221; <strong>Dead Woman from Beverly Hills<\/strong>&#8221; with <strong>Klausj\u00fcrgen Wussow<\/strong>, <strong>Horst Frank<\/strong>, <strong>Wolfgang Neuss<\/strong>, <strong>Walter Giller<\/strong>, <strong>the Kessler twins<\/strong> and many other well-known faces was already published last year by <span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif;\"><strong>UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44783&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44785&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44787&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The Austrian actress, born on 17 September 1940 in Carinthia, began her career at the Wiener Theatre in Josefstadt. She received her acting training at the <strong>Max-Reinhardt-Seminar<\/strong>. There she was already discovered by Austrian television. At the age of 19 she made her cinema debut in &#8220;<strong>Ich heirate Herrn Direktor<\/strong>&#8220;. In 1964 and 1965, the two films by <strong>Michael Pfleghar<\/strong> followed.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Besides her film career <strong>Heidelinde Weis<\/strong> was also very successful in the theatre. At the end of the 1960s she increasingly shifted her work to television. She gained great fame in 1971 with the three-part WDR television film &#8220;<strong>Die Frau in Wei\u00df<\/strong>&#8221; (English: <strong>The Woman in White<\/strong>&#8220;), in which she played a double role.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">In addition to guest appearances in popular TV series such as &#8220;<strong>Der Alte<\/strong>&#8220;, &#8220;<strong>Derrick<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Ein Fall f\u00fcr zwei<\/strong>&#8220;, she also played in the first seven episodes of &#8220;<strong>Schwarzwaldklinik<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44790&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;44792&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Since the mid 1960s she was also successful with chansons. In addition, she was involved as a narrator in various radio play productions.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Due to the long illness of her husband, whom she nursed, she withdrew from public life until his death in 1998. Since then she has been seen on television more often, especially in TV productions such as &#8220;<strong>Das Traumschiff<\/strong>&#8220;, <strong>Rosamunde Pilcher<\/strong> and <strong>Utta Danella<\/strong> adaptations. She also plays frequently at boulevard theatres. In 2016 it became known that Heidelinde Weis was suffering from cancer, which she has since overcome.
