Earth is caught in a destructive meteor shower. But this is only the prelude to a possible global catastrophe, threatened by a huge meteorite field. Should this bombardment pass through the Earth’s atmosphere unharmed, it could mean the end of the Earth. The only way out seems to be a coordinated nuclear strike by all world powers to eliminate the threat from space. But contrary to the assessment of the military led by Colonel Singh (Eric Roberts<\/strong>), scientist Gwen Armstrong (Kate Watson<\/strong>) is sceptical. Something seems to slow down the speed of the meteorites. But what is behind it? When she finds out the catastrophic reason, time is running out and the military is on its way to target the wrong target.
