After the emotional first single \u2018The Colour of You\u2019<\/strong>, the band is now following up with their second track \u2018Diamonds in the Rough\u2019<\/strong> – a gripping, dynamic piece accompanied by a brand new music video directed by Johannes M\u00e4kinen<\/strong> (Downtime Visual Arts). Also on board is Okko Solanter\u00e4<\/strong>, whose impressive guest appearance takes the song to a whole new level.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/5″][vc_column_text css=””]Singer Jaakko M\u00e4ntymaa <\/strong><\/b>on the subject of the song: “I’ve always had a problem with the way we talk about the dead. You know, you over-remember all the good things and completely tune out the flaws – that \u201conly good things about the dead\u201d thing. But what better way to honour someone than to see them as a whole person, with all their strengths and flaws? The song celebrates memories that truly reflect what happened.<\/em>“[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Guitarist Nico M\u00e4ntt\u00e4ri<\/strong> adds: “Normally, our music is more about slowly building up atmosphere, long, reverberating songs and so on. But sometimes it’s just cool to bang out some more direct, rock’n’rolly stuff. And this track is just such an experiment. We had been talking to our good friend Okko (Solanter\u00e4) for a while about doing a guest part on the album – and when he sang the chorus, everything suddenly fell into place perfectly.
