    \nDer Dritte Raum<\/b>\u00a0 is a project by German producer Andreas Kr\u00fcger<\/b> that has been active since the early 1990s. Andreas Kr\u00fcger took his first big step in 1994 when he gave Sven V\u00e4th a demo tape, which led to its release on the influential label Harthouse. Early classics such as \u201cWellenbad<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cTrommelmaschine<\/strong>\u201d were released there, which are now considered milestones of progressive techno.

Der Dritte Raum<\/b>caused a stir back in 1994 when he handed DJ Sven V\u00e4th<\/b> a demo tape – which led to his first release on the Harthouse <\/b>label. Musically, the sound is characterized by distinctive, short snare drums, complex hi-hat patterns, concise bass lines, unusual sound colors, and flanger effects. His style is based on progressive techno, acid, Goa, and trance influences \u2013 always with a hypnotic blend of structure and groove. As a live act, Der Dritte Raum has won numerous awards, not least for its ability to reshape electronic sound in real time.
