\nFrom today, 30 May 2025, the feature film \u2018Rock \u201cn\u201d Roll Ringo<\/strong>\u2019 by <\/i>Dominik Galizia<\/strong> is officially available in home entertainment. The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on the film label Artkeim\u00b2<\/strong> and as a digital download and stream on all common platforms.
\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Die Blu-ray enth\u00e4lt neben dem Hauptfilm (Laufzeit ca. 100 Minuten) umfangreiches<\/p>\n

In addition to the main film (running time approx. 100 minutes), the Blu-ray contains extensive bonus material, including an audio commentary with director Dominik Galizia<\/strong> and lead actor Martin Rohde<\/strong> as well as the featurette \u2018Martin im Labor<\/strong>\u2019. The DVD version has the same features, with the exception of the sound and picture formats. Both formats are available in stores now.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]
\n\u2018Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Ringo<\/strong>\u2019 tells the story of Ringo Fleisch, a scaffolder from Herne, who loses his job after a serious accident at work and joins the travelling world of the funfair. As a prizefighter in a fairground stall, he rises to become a local hero, but increasingly loses control of his life. At the centre of the story is his fragile relationship with his deaf daughter Mia and a failed attempt to combine responsibility with escapism.

\nThe film was released in German cinemas on 6 September last year and was shown again yesterday on Father’s Day at the Hasenheide open-air cinema as a transition to the home entertainment sector. With his third feature film after \u2018Figaro’s Wolves<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018Heiko’s World<\/strong>\u2019, director Dominik Galizia<\/strong> remains true to his narrative approach of staging social outsiders in a precisely observed milieu. The press particularly praised the authentic visual language, the strong cast and the dense local colour of the Ruhr region.

\nThe film will next be presented in cinemas as part of the 17th German Film Fest Madrid<\/strong>. The festival will take place from 11 to 15 June 2025 at the Cines Embajadores<\/strong> in Madrid and will show current German film productions.
