The film was also recently longlisted for the 2025 Oscars<\/b>. \u201cOne Hundred Four\u201d<\/b> vividly depicts the course of a sea rescue in the Mediterranean. With several cameras running in parallel, the film follows the grueling rescue of 104 people from a sinking inflatable boat \u2013 person by person, step by step.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text css=””]The situation escalates when the Libyan coast guard shows up. Als die libysche K\u00fcstenwache sich dem deutschen Seenotrettungsboot Eleonore n\u00e4hert, bricht Hektik unter den 104 Fl\u00fcchtlingen aus und der routinierte Rettungsvorgang muss beschleunig werden. Wie eine Seenotrettung ablaufen kann, \u00fcbersteigt jegliche Vorstellungskraft. Die Echtzeitdokumentation \u201eEinhundertvier\u201c bringt diese dramatische Situation n\u00e4her. Der Film zeigt wie qu\u00e4lend lange es dauert, 104 Personen von einem sinkenden Schlauchboot zu bergen. Mensch f\u00fcr Mensch, Schritt f\u00fcr Schritt wird die Aktion mit mehreren parallelen Kameras begleitet. Mit dem Auftauchen der Libyschen K\u00fcstenwache spitzt sich die Lage zu.
