In May, the cult comedy \u2018Heiko’s World<\/strong>\u2019 (Darling Berlin<\/strong>) by Dominik Galizia<\/strong> will be back on Berlin screens. It will kick off on Father’s Day, 9 May 2024<\/strong>, at the Hasenheide open-air cinema, which will show the film starring Martin \u2018Heiko\u2019 Rohde<\/strong> on a special daytime stage at 6 pm. In his feature film, director and author Dominik Galizia<\/strong> has a lot of fun with his main character Heiko (Martin Rohde<\/strong>) and tells the story of a heart-warming mother\/son relationship that goes on bizarre capers between Berlin pubs, darts and plenty of beer and futschi. The film has thrilled tens of thousands of viewers in German cinemas since the summer and still enjoys cult status every week in selected cinemas nationwide.<\/p>\n

A highlight will be a screening on Tuesday, 21 May 2024, in auditorium 1 of the Wedding Alhambra cinema<\/strong>, not far from where the film was shot in Wedding Kiez. The screening at the Cineplex cinema<\/strong> will be garnished with the premiere of the trailer for Dominik Galizia’s new film \u2018Rock \u201cn\u201d Roll Ringo<\/strong>\u2019, which will be presented to the public for the first time in the presence of lead actor Martin Rohde<\/strong> and director Dominik Galizia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
