On 19 March 2024, the nominations for the German Film Awards 2024<\/strong> were announced by the German Film Academy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> congratulates Adele Neuhauser<\/strong> on her nomination in the category “Best Female Supporting Role<\/strong>“<\/em> in the feature film “15 Years<\/strong>” by Chris Kraus<\/strong>. Adele Neuhauser<\/strong> can currently also be seen in the comedy “Surviving Brandenburg<\/strong>” (German title. \u00a0“\u00dcberleben in Brandenburg<\/strong>“) by Zoltan Paul<\/strong> and Ben von Grafenstein<\/strong> (produced by Clementina Hegewisch<\/strong>, Jan Kerhart<\/strong> and Sandra Maischberger<\/strong>), which UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> will release in cinemas across Germany on the Darling Berlin<\/strong> label from 11 April 2024 and also distribute worldwide.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]About Adele Neuhauser<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in Athens, Adele Neuhauser<\/strong> moved with her family from Greece to Vienna at the age of four, where she grew up. Adele Neuhauser<\/strong> wanted to be an actress from the age of six. After training as an actress, she began performing on stage, including in M\u00fcnster, Essen, Mainz and occasionally in Vienna.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_single_image image=”102693″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Neuhauser caused a national sensation in the production of “Faust<\/strong>” at the Regensburg City Theatre<\/strong>, in which she played Mephisto<\/em> as a woman. She has also appeared in cinema films such as “Helden in Tirol<\/strong>” (directed by Niki List<\/strong>), “Gone – eine t\u00f6dliche Leidenschaft<\/strong>” (directed by Zoltan Paul<\/strong>), “Wo ist Fred?<\/strong>” (director: Anno Saul<\/strong>), “Die Perlmutterfarbe<\/strong>” (director: Marcus H. Rosenm\u00fcller<\/strong>, “3faltig<\/strong>” (director: Harald Sicheritz<\/strong>), “R\u00e4uber Knei\u00dfl<\/strong>” (director: Marcus H. Rosenm\u00fcller<\/strong>) and in the cult TV series “Vier Frauen und ein Todesfall<\/strong>“, in which she played the role of farmer’s wife Jule Zirbner<\/em>. Most recently, she was seen on ORF<\/strong> in the film “Steiererrausch<\/strong>” (director: Wolfgang Murnberger<\/strong>) and in the mini-series “Unter Freunden stirbt man nicht<\/strong>” on TV Now<\/strong> (director: Felix Stienz<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

At the Munich Film Festival<\/strong> 2021, she celebrated a great success as the lead role in the ARD<\/strong> comedy “Faltenfrei<\/strong>” and last year she once again took on the lead role in the film “Ungeschminkt<\/strong>“, directed by Dirk Kummer<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Since 2010, she has successfully played the investigator Bibi Fellner<\/em> alongside Harald Krassnitzer<\/strong> (as Moritz Eisner<\/em>) in ORF<\/strong>‘s Vienna crime series. Since 2014, she has also appeared in the literature & music productions “Die letzten ihrer Art<\/strong>” and “Mythos<\/strong>” together with her son, guitarist Julian Pajzs<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The German Film Prize<\/strong>\u00a0(formerly the\u00a0Federal Film Prize<\/strong>), often referred to as the\u00a0Lola<\/strong>, has been awarded since 1951 and is considered the most prestigious award for German film. With prize money totalling almost three million euros, it is the most highly endowed German cultural award. The\u00a0German Film Prize<\/strong>\u00a0is awarded annually in the spring\/summer, broadcast alternately by\u00a0ARD<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0ZDF<\/strong>, and produced by\u00a0Deutsche Filmakademie Produktion\u00a0<\/strong>GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the\u00a0German Film Academy<\/strong>. The film award is symbolised by the\u00a0Lola statuette<\/strong>, which is awarded in gold to the winners of the various categories. In the\u00a0\u201cBest Feature Film<\/strong>\u201c<\/em>\u00a0category, it is also awarded in bronze and silver.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe announcement of the nominations took place in a new setting this year: Minister of State for Culture\u00a0Claudia Roth<\/strong>\u00a0and the presidential duo of the\u00a0German Film Academy<\/strong>,\u00a0Alexandra Maria Lara<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Florian Gallenberger<\/strong>, presented seven nominations live on\u00a0ARD\u2019s Mittagsmagazin<\/strong>\u00a0programme. Immediately beforehand, Film Academy board member\u00a0Dennenesch Zoud\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0and Film Prize ambassador\u00a0Lucas Reiber<\/strong>\u00a0had announced the nominations in ten film disciplines in a livestream on the\u00a0ARD Mediathek<\/strong>. The underlying voting procedure was also new this year: For the first time, the more than 2,200 members of the\u00a0German Film Academy<\/strong>\u00a0were able to vote directly on the submitted films \u2013 and not, as previously, via a reduced pre-selection made by a commission. In addition, for the first time, all members were able to vote for the\u00a0\u201cBest Feature Film<\/strong>\u201c<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0\u201cBest Children\u2019s Film<\/strong>\u201c<\/em>\u00a0during the nomination phase. Another new feature is that from 2024, set decorators will also be nominated and honoured in the\u00a0Best Production Design<\/em>\u00a0category alongside production designers.

The award ceremony will take place on 3 May 2024 in Berlin. Members have until 30 April to vote in the second stage to decide who will be the\u00a0Lola<\/strong>\u00a0winner on stage on 3 May 2024.\u00a0ARD<\/strong>\u00a0will broadcast the award ceremony live in the\u00a0ARD Mediathek at 7.30 pm and on linear television at 10.20 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
