[vc_row][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]After the successful cult hit “Heiko’s World<\/strong>“, director Dominik Galizia<\/strong>, actor Martin Rohde<\/strong> and the rap and artist collective “Nordachse<\/strong>” are back with their new stoic comedy-drama about boxing at the funfair: “Rock’N’Roll Ring<\/strong>o”, shot on 35mm with a budget of 1,200,000 euros, will be presented for the first time to international partners from the industry by UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span>, who are distributing the film worldwide, at the EFM<\/strong> (European Film Market<\/strong>), which takes place as every year during the Berlinale<\/strong> in Berlin.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Synopsis<\/span><\/p>\n

Ringo Fleisch, a scaffolder from Herne, loses his job and starts as a temporary worker at the funfair, where he is seduced by showman Fr\u00e4nkie into a career as a funfair boxer. Ringo goes on tour with the funfair and leaves his cosy home for the first time. He succeeds in gathering a small fairground family around him. Fr\u00e4nkie becomes a strong mentor, tempting them with fast money and star status at the fair, and the Great Hainz, a pantomime, becomes his faithful companion. Through Jenny from the bumper cars, he gets to know the fast-paced funfair life, even if it repeatedly leads to conflicts with her brother Mirko.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Ringo seems ambitious and suddenly has a clear goal in mind: at the end of the funfair season, he wants to fulfil a long-awaited dream for his deaf daughter.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_single_image image=”105744″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

In line with its distribution concept, UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span> will market the film internationally and intermedially outside Germany, i.e. aim for the broadest possible market entry of the film on all possible distribution channels and markets. The film’s cinema release in Germany and Austria is planned for the course of the current year.<\/p>\n
