Synopsis<\/span><\/h3>\n

The young architect Hannes Cremer wants to forget his professional stress on his grandfather’s farm in the Black Forest. He has just quit his job and has also given his fianc\u00e9e Janine, the daughter of his boss, the slip. However, the intended rest comes to nothing, because not only his employer and his fianc\u00e9e are after him, but he also meets the ‘four-leaf clover’, a quartet of ladies on their way to a wedding. Especially Renate (Barbara Nielsen), who has also just been bitterly disappointed, has captured Hanne’s heart in no time. About Werner Jacobs<\/h3>\n

Werner Jacobs<\/strong> was born on 24.4.1909 in Berlin. He graduated from high school in Berlin in 1928, but was unable to study due to lack of money. It was not until 1930 that he found work in a Berlin dubbing studio as a draftsman and assistant in film and sound editing. Jacobs was very good at his work and so he was soon appointed as an editor. In 1934, MGM<\/strong> brought Werner Jacob<\/strong>s to the Berlin studios for its German branch. He worked there as an editor and assistant director. He edited U.S. feature films for the German market, took care of the editing and dubbing. In 1939 he moved to Bavaria Film<\/strong>. In 1940 he was drafted for military service. In 1943, Jacobs fell seriously ill with a lung disease and was neither fit for war nor for work. It was not until 1949 that he was offered a position again as producer and chief editor of the newsreel “Welt im Bild<\/strong>“.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

From 1952 Werner Jacobs<\/strong> worked mainly as a director. He was considered a specialist for musical films and simple comedies. His operetta adaptations “Der Bettelstudent<\/strong>” (1952), “Der Graf von Luxemburg<\/strong>” (1957), “Im wei\u00dfen R\u00f6ssl<\/strong>” (1960) and “Die lustige Witwe<\/strong>” (1962) are still considered outstanding today. He also became known for several film adaptations of Ludwig Thoma<\/strong>‘s material, such as “Onkel Filser<\/strong>” or “Tante Frieda<\/strong>“. His last musical film, his trademark, was directed in 1974 with “Schwarzwaldfahrt aus Liebeskummer<\/strong>” with pop star Roy Black. Werner Jacobs<\/strong> retired in 1975. Werner Jacobs<\/strong> was married to Gertrud Hart<\/strong> since 1945, the couple had 2 sons. Werner Jacobs<\/strong> died on January 24, 1999 in Munich.<\/p>\n

That Roy Black<\/strong> also sang his hit songs in the film was obligatory. Besides some folk songs, his own singing titles “Alle warten auf das Gl\u00fcck<\/strong>“, “Meine Freunde sind die Pferde<\/strong>” and “Ich will dich nicht verlieren<\/strong>” can be heard. Roy Black<\/strong> was accompanied by James Last<\/strong> and his orchestra during all the vocal performances. James Last<\/strong> also wrote the rest of the music for this film.<\/p>\n
