[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy, UCM.ONE<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0releases in Germany on the film label “M-Square Pictures<\/strong>” the film “D-Day<\/strong>“, which tells the story of a special unit that was deployed as a suicide mission right at the beginning of the fighting operations. Synopsis of the movie:<\/h3>\n

Based on the true story of a suicide squad that was to eliminate strategically important German MG and cannon positions on Omaha Beach on the day of the Allies’ great Normandy offensive on June 6, 1944. The US elite ranger unit of the second battalion, led by Lieutenant General Omar Bradley (Chuck Liddl<\/strong>) and Lieutenant Colonel James Rider (Weston Cage Coppola<\/strong>), is to be the vanguard of the great invasion, sent to neutralize the large German Wehrmacht gun units stationed along the planned invasion line in bunkers on the coast and in the hinterland. The first German units are quickly overwhelmed, but the tensions between the rangers increase as the group takes prisoners of war and suddenly sees itself surrounded by German commandos. About Nick Lyon:<\/h3>\n

Nick Lyon<\/strong> (* 25. April 1975 in Pocatello, Idaho) is a filmmaker, photographer and artist. After beginning a fine arts education in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, Nick Lyon traveled to Germany where he studied filmmaking for four years at the Film Academy Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg<\/strong> in Ludwigsburg (Germany) and began shooting music videos before directing his first feature film for Warner Bros, the thriller “I Love You, Baby<\/strong>” (2000), starring Maximilian Schell<\/strong>, Mark Keller<\/strong> and Jasmin Gerat<\/strong>. From there, Nick Lyon returned to America to direct his self produced film “Punk Love<\/strong>“. Since, Nick Lyon has directed a wide variety of films and TV in the USA and Germany. About\u00a0Weston Cage Coppola:<\/h3>\n

Weston Cage Coppola<\/strong> (* 26 December 1990 in Los Angeles, USA), is the son of Nicolas Cage<\/strong> and actress Christina Fulton<\/strong>. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School and studied acting at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts<\/strong> and the Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theatre<\/strong>. He made his first foray into creativity with music and the black metal band “Eyes of Noctum<\/strong>\u201c.
