Hell Night<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]After almost 25 years on the index in Germany (which means, that it is not allowed to sell the movie in the uncut version), the indexing of the film “Hell Night<\/strong>” was cancelled in December 2008. Another 11 years later, an uncut version of the film “Hell Night”, also known as “Paranoia<\/strong>” ( or “Paranoia – Alone with the Killer<\/strong>“), was released in HD for the first time in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “Hell Night<\/strong>” was produced by Irwin Yanlans<\/strong>, who was also responsible for the first three films “Halloween<\/strong>“, “Halloween II<\/strong>” and “Halloween III: Season of the Witch<\/strong>“.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]UCM.ONE<\/span><\/strong> releases the film “Hell Night<\/strong>” with Linda Blair<\/strong>, known from “The Exorcist<\/strong>“, “Exorcist II: The Heretic<\/strong>“,\u00a0Grotesque<\/strong>” or “La casa 4 (Witchcraft)<\/strong>” on the label M-Square Classics <\/strong>in Germany,\u00a0Austria and Switzerland with the uncut HD and restored version as a limited media book<\/strong> with Blu-Ray and DVD and a 16 page booklet as well as on VoD-portals.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1561290391124{border-right-width: -15px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”33120″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”33122″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Synopsis:<\/h3>\n

As the climax of an entrance examination for the student association “Alpha Sigma Rho”, the four young liaison candidates Marti (Linda Blair<\/strong>), Jeff (Peter Barton<\/strong>), Denise (Suki Goodwin<\/strong>) and Seth (Vincent van Patten<\/strong>) are to spend a night in the well-known, old-fashioned haunted house Garth Manor. Twelve years ago, the landlord is said to have killed his wife, three of his deformed children and finally himself and left his youngest son, the idiot Andrew, alone. Of course, horror stories report that the unfortunate man is still walking through the house, but even the initiators of the entrance examination don’t believe it. About the director:<\/h3>\n

Tom DeSimone<\/strong>, not to be confused with gangster Thomas “Two-Gun Tommy” DeSimone, was born in 1939 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He received his bachelor’s degree from Emerson College, moved to Los Angeles and received his master’s degree in film studies from the University of Southern California. His film career began in the early 1960s with several erotic films, including some gay porn under the pseudonym Lancer Brooks. His movie “The Collection<\/strong>” from 1970 is regarded as the first gay movie with dialogues and plot. Almost two dozen other erotic films followed, including gay vampires, magic books and escaped convicts, until DeSimone directed the comedy “Chatterbox!<\/strong>” in 1977, in which Penelope, a young beautician, finds that her vagina can speak and even sing, which of course leads to some confusion. The bizarre film with Candice Rialson in the leading role is considered a cult today.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]After further Lancer Brooks films, Tony DeSimone<\/strong> turned to horror films and thrillers at the beginning of the 1980s with “” (alternative German title: “Paranoia – Alleine mit dem Killer<\/strong>“) [1981] and “The Concrete Jungle<\/strong>” [1982]. Two more thrillers and four gay movies later DeSimone’s film career ended and he began to work for television. His last direction he took over in 2002 in a episode of the series “She Spies<\/strong>“, a copy of “Charlie’s Angels<\/strong>“.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner css=”.vc_custom_1561290391124{border-right-width: -15px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”33110″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

About Linda Blair:<\/h3>\n

Linda Blair was born on January 22, 1959 in St. Louis and already stood with barely ten years in front of the camera in three smaller roles until she was selected from 600 candidates for the role of the possessed Regan in the cult horror movie “Exorcist<\/strong>” (1973). Her first leading role directly earned her an Oscar nomination<\/strong> as well as a Golden Globe<\/strong>, although it later became known that Linda Blair had been doubled in the hardest scenes of “Exorcist” by Eileen Dietz<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1561290391124{border-right-width: -15px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”33097″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”33099″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Nevertheless she became a world star and was first seen in TV and horror movies. Her horror image was difficult for her to discard and so she repeatedly slipped into the role of the possessed or abused woman, whereby her revealing portrayal did the rest and attracted even more attention. At the beginning of the 1980s, Linda Blair appeared mostly in slasher and exploitation films, including “Hell Night<\/strong>” (1981), “Chained Heat<\/strong>” (1983), the Grindhouse classic “Savage Streets<\/strong>” (1984) and “Savage Island<\/strong>” (1985).[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]But she also appeared in comedies from time to time and played alongside legend Leslie Nielsen<\/strong> in 1990 in “Repossessed<\/strong>” and 1992 in “Married with Children”<\/strong> Peg Bundy’s cousin Ida Mae, as well as in cult series such as “MacGyver<\/strong>” or “Renegade<\/strong>“.
