Die Vinyl \u201aThe First Voyage E.P<\/strong>.\u2018, auf deren A-Seite sich \u201eBycance<\/strong>\u201c im Original Mix findet, wurde erstmals 1994 als VooDoo 002-6<\/em><\/strong> ver\u00f6ffentlicht.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“3\/4″][vc_column_text]Nach \u00fcber einem Vierteljahrhundert ist das Piratenschiff wieder aufgetaucht und es hat nichts von seiner Durchschlagskraft verloren. Jetzt bringt VooDoo Records<\/strong>, ein Label der UCM.ONE<\/span><\/strong>, endlich das Original „Pyrate – The First Voyage E.P.<\/strong>“ mit den drei Titeln \u201aBycance\u2018<\/strong>, \u201aMythos 5<\/strong>\u2018 und \u2018The Voodoo Ryde<\/strong>\u2018 in die digitalen Kan\u00e4le.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

„Bycance<\/strong>“ mit dem charakteristischen Vocal Sample \u201eEs ist die reine Wahrheit\u201c\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0war europaweit in den DJ Charts vertreten und damit Teil des Soundtracks auf Mayday<\/strong>, Love Parade<\/strong> & Co. Der Track kam in TV-Produktionen wie ARD<\/strong>-Dokus und TV-Trailern zum Einsatz und ist als eine der inoffiziellen Hymnen einiger europ\u00e4ischer Clubs in die Techno History eingegangen.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nach der Original E.P. folgten mehrere Releases mit erfolgreichen Remixes. Insgesamt wurde der Titel auf mehr als 25 Major Compilations lizenziert, darunter \u201eTrance Nation<\/strong>\u201c, \u201eRave Now<\/strong>\u201c, \u201eTrancemaster\u201c<\/strong> und \u201eNature One – Best Of 20 Years<\/strong>\u201c und wurde auch auf diesem Wege in einer h\u00f6heren sechsstelligen St\u00fcckzahl auf Tontr\u00e4gern vervielf\u00e4ltigt.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Die beiden kennen sich seit den fr\u00fchen 90ern, als Malte regelm\u00e4\u00dfiger Gast in Nicos Underground Vinyl Store \u201eMagic Records<\/strong>\u201c war.\u00a0Nico stand auf der Love Parade<\/strong> Berlin, Street Parade<\/strong>, Nature One<\/strong> und SMS<\/strong> an den Turntables, ebenso in vielen nationalen und internationalen Clubs. Er blickt als Produzent auf zahllose Releases zur\u00fcck, allem voran \u201aRobotnico<\/strong> – Backtired<\/strong>‚ mit \u00fcber 80.000 verkauften Einheiten und Direkteinstieg in die offiziellen Sales-Charts. Mit seinen Projekten \u201aGatorades<\/strong>\u2019 und \u2018Houspimps<\/strong>\u2019 pr\u00e4gte er den Rhein-Main Techno-Sound der fr\u00fchen 90er, mit \u201aMosquito Headz<\/strong>\u2019 hat er einen erfolgreichen Act auf Superstar Recordings<\/strong> platziert. Nico war gern gesehener Gast in den Medien von der BRAVO<\/strong> bis GIGA TV<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Maltes Discographie gl\u00e4nzt mit Projekten wie Velvet Cycle<\/strong> auf Illuminate Records<\/strong> (Drizzly Records<\/strong>), dem eigens f\u00fcr das Projekt \u201eSun Rise Service<\/strong>\u201c gelaunchten Label Massai<\/strong> (Sublabel von 23 Records Frankfurt<\/strong>), Microcut<\/strong> \u201eMirage<\/strong>\u201c sowie mit \u201aPhorum<\/strong>\u2018, einem weiteren erfolgreichen VooDoo Records<\/strong> Act sowie einer gro\u00dfen Zahl von Lizenzierungen f\u00fcr\u00a0Kopplungen. Daneben hat er u.a. Klanglandschaften f\u00fcr Kunstinstallationen komponiert und war in j\u00fcngerer Zeit auftraggeberseitig an der Entwicklung von Audiologos f\u00fcr Unternehmen sowie an Soundtracks f\u00fcr TV-Spots beteiligt.<\/div>\n
