Mit 10 brandneuen Tracks, die sich \u00fcber 63 Minuten erstrecken, ist das brandneue Album der Band ein zutiefst kraftvolles und majest\u00e4tisches St\u00fcck Musik, eines, welches den H\u00f6rer auf eine faszinierende Reise in bisher unvorstellbare Sph\u00e4ren entf\u00fchrt.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Um ihr neues Album geb\u00fchrend zu feiern, haben Mercury Circle<\/strong> ein neues Musikvideo zum Song „Like Matches<\/strong>“ ver\u00f6ffentlicht, mit einem besonderen Gastauftritt von keiner Geringeren als Cammie Gilbert<\/strong> von Oceans of Slumber<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“3\/4″][vc_column_text]Gegr\u00fcndet von Produzent und Musiker Jaani Peuhu<\/strong>, der seine Aktivit\u00e4ten bei Swallow the Sun<\/strong> f\u00fcr den kommenden Albumzyklus der Band pausierte, um sich voll und ganz auf\u00a0Mercury Circle<\/strong>\u00a0zu konzentrieren, ist der finnische F\u00fcnfer in der Szene kein Unbekannter und besteht aus ehemaligen und aktuellen Mitgliedern bekannter Acts wie Children of Bodom<\/strong>, To\/Die\/For<\/strong>, Hanging Garden<\/strong> und Sleep of Monsters<\/strong>.\u00a0Thematisch inspiriert durch das t\u00e4gliche Leben mit all seinen dunklen Facetten und Herausforderungen, war „die urspr\u00fcngliche Idee f\u00fcr das Albumkonzept, es zu einer Art Tor zu machen, welches einen Weg weg vom Alltag \u00f6ffnet, der irgendwo hinf\u00fchrt, wo wir frei von all dem Stress, der Trauer, Corona oder anderen weltlichen Sorgen sein k\u00f6nnen<\/em>„, erkl\u00e4rt Jaani Peuhu<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Weiterhin berichtet er: „Diese Idee des Eskapismus ist sehr grundlegend und zutreffend f\u00fcr die Musik, aber es stellte sich heraus, dass sie w\u00e4hrend des Schreibprozesses eine tiefere und komplexere Bedeutung f\u00fcr mich entwickelte. Ich musste mit der schwierigen Realit\u00e4t fertig werden, dass mein Vater, selbst ein brillanter Musiker, wegen der Alzheimer-Krankheit nicht mehr in dieser Welt ist. Ich frage mich oft, wo er ist und wo er in seinem eigenen Kopf umherwandert. Ich stelle mir vor, dass er frei ist, durch Raum und Zeit zu reisen und dort tut, was er will, z. B. Planeten zu zerst\u00f6ren oder sich in einer spirituellen Welt zu am\u00fcsieren… und das alles, w\u00e4hrend diese Krankheit ein ganzes Leben an Erinnerungen ausl\u00f6scht. Viele von uns suchen nach M\u00f6glichkeiten, dem Zustand, in dem wir uns befinden, zu entfliehen, andere haben nicht die Wahl zu bleiben, und mehr noch, sie finden den Weg zur\u00fcck in den Alltag nicht, weil sie sich nicht daran erinnern k\u00f6nnen. Der hatte sich schon lange in meinem Kopf festgesetzt und ist eher zuf\u00e4llig zu einem der pers\u00f6nlichsten Songs des Albums geworden.\u00a0<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=“1\/3″][vc_single_image image=“57049″ img_size=“full“ onclick=“link_image“][\/vc_column][vc_column width=“2\/3″][vc_column_text]Als ich die ersten Demosongs in kauderwelschem Englisch sang, fanden die Worte Killing Moons ihren Weg in den Text und begannen irgendwie mit mir zu schwingen: Die „Moons“ als Ma\u00df f\u00fcr die Zeit und das „Killing“ als eine Art, die gelebten Jahre auszul\u00f6schen – oder die Flucht aus dem Alltag, wie beim Zeitvertreib durch das Lesen eines guten Buches.\u00a0<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Als Band haben wir auch eine starke visuelle Geschichte rund um Jaskas Interesse am Weltraum und an der Wissenschaft sowie um meine Art, mit Energien, Spirituellem und Okkultem zu leben, geschaffen.
