Nach der emotionalen ersten Single\u00a0„The Colour of You“<\/strong> legt die Band jetzt mit ihrem zweiten Track „Diamonds in the Rough“<\/strong> nach \u2013 ein packendes, dynamisches St\u00fcck, begleitet von einem brandneuen Musikvideo unter der Regie von Johannes M\u00e4kinen<\/strong> (Downtime Visual Arts). Mit am Start ist au\u00dferdem Okko Solanter\u00e4<\/strong>, dessen eindrucksvoller Gastauftritt den Song noch mal auf ein neues Level hebt.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=“3\/5″][vc_column_text css=““]S\u00e4nger Jaakko M\u00e4ntymaa <\/strong>\u00fcber das Thema des Songs: „Ich hatte schon immer ein Problem damit, wie wir \u00fcber Verstorbene reden. Wei\u00dft du, man erinnert sich \u00fcbertrieben an all das Gute und blendet die Macken komplett aus \u2013 dieses ‚\u00dcber die Toten nur Gutes‘-Ding. Aber was k\u00f6nnte jemanden besser ehren, als ihn als ganzen Menschen zu sehen, mit allen St\u00e4rken und Fehlern? Der Song feiert Erinnerungen, die wirklich das widerspiegeln, was passiert ist.<\/em>„[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=““]Gitarrist Nico M\u00e4ntt\u00e4ri<\/strong> erg\u00e4nzt: „Normalerweise geht\u2019s bei unserer Musik ja eher darum, langsam Atmosph\u00e4re aufzubauen, lange, nachhallende Songs und so weiter. Aber manchmal ist es auch einfach geil, etwas direkteres, rock\u2019n\u2019rolligeres Zeug rauszuhauen. Und dieser Track ist genau so ein Experiment geworden. Wir hatten schon l\u00e4nger mit unserem guten Freund Okko (Solanter\u00e4) dar\u00fcber gesprochen, auf dem Album einen Gastpart zu machen \u2013 und als er dann den Refrain eingesungen hat, hat pl\u00f6tzlich alles perfekt zusammengepasst. Im Laufe von vier Alben „Horror Vacui<\/strong>“ (2016), „Ruins<\/strong>“ (2019), „Fata Morgana<\/strong>“ (2021) und „Auer<\/strong>“ (2023) hat die Band mit unheimlichem Gesp\u00fcr f\u00fcr den Moment Themen wie Isolation, Verzweiflung und Konflikt behandelt. „Fata Morgana<\/strong>“ war das letzte Kapitel einer Trilogie, die vor der Pandemie geschrieben, aber auf ihrem H\u00f6hepunkt ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. „Auer<\/strong>“ wurde kurz vor dem Ausbruch milit\u00e4rischer Unruhen in Europa fertiggestellt \u2013 ein Zufall, der zu bizarr erscheint, als dass man ihn erfinden k\u00f6nnte.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=““]Im Januar 2026 kehrt die Band mit ihrem f\u00fcnften Album „The Bereaved“ <\/strong>und einem brandneuen Plattenvertrag mit Noble Demon<\/strong> zur\u00fcck. Es ist eine zutiefst pers\u00f6nliche Geschichte \u00fcber den Tod und die vielen Formen, in denen das Ende erscheinen kann. Wir begegnen der Band inmitten einer Gedenkfeier, gequ\u00e4lt von den Fragen, was man h\u00e4tte tun oder lassen sollen, wie sie nur die Hinterbliebenen kennen. Denn manchmal gilt das Mitleid den Lebenden und der Neid den Toten.
