Was macht man, wenn man ein paar klasse Songs in der Hinterhand hat, diese aber nur bedingt zum Material der eigenen Band passen und man den Sound der Hauptcombo konsequent nicht ver\u00e4ndern will? Richtig \u2013 man startet einfach ein weiteres Projekt. So hielt es auch Tuomas Saukkonen<\/strong>, S\u00e4nger\/Gitarrist und kreative Kraft hinter Before The Dawn<\/strong>. Als er n\u00e4mlich bei den Arbeiten zum dritten Before The Dawn-Album \u201cThe Ghost<\/strong>\u201d auf einmal feststellt, dass er eine ganze Reihe guter Songs hat, die aber doch deutlich dunkler, melancholischer oder schlicht anders sind als das, was ihm mit seiner Hauptband vorschwebt, rieft er den dunklen \u201cZwilling\u201d\u00a0Dawn Of Solace<\/strong> ins Leben.<\/div>\n

Das erste Album mit dem Titel \u201eThe Darkness<\/strong>\u201d, urspr\u00fcnglich ver\u00f6ffentlicht am\u00a026. Mai 2006,\u00a0<\/em>enth\u00e4lt einen melodischen Sound, der dem von Before the Dawn<\/strong> \u00e4hnelt, wenn auch mit einem viel st\u00e4rkeren Gothic Metal- und Doom Metal-Einfluss.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Nach der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung zwangen mehrere Probleme mit dem damaligen Label das Projekt, f\u00fcr unbestimmte Zeit in eine Pause zu gehen.
